SNIP™ Card Deck

70 Neurocognitive Frictions. Real Responses. One Framework That Actually Maps the Terrain.

Most tools ask you to label yourself. SNIP™ asks a better question: where, exactly, does access break down — and what actually helps?

The SNIP™ Card Deck turns the Systemic NeuroCognitive Indexing Protocol™ into something you can hold, shuffle, and actually use — in a session, on a team, or alone at your kitchen table. Grounded in neuroscience currently under peer review at Neurodiversity (SAGE), and built for coaching, leadership, education, and personal work.

Across 70 cards and five core domains, the deck makes friction visible — not as a diagnosis, not as a fixed trait, but as something you can work with.

Each card gives you three things:

  • Where it's getting difficult

  • What's likely contributing to that

  • What could make it more workable

Inside the deck

70 premium cards, five SNIP™ domains:

  • Sensory & Emotional Processing

  • Cognitive & Temporal Regulation

  • Motor & Energy Rhythms

  • Social & Communication Styles

  • Executive Function & Systems Thinking

Heavyweight matte stock. Magnetic closure box. Built for a desk that gets used, not a shelf that looks nice.

Comes with guidance for 1:1s, coaching sessions, workshops, team reflection, education, and solo exploration — plus a digital companion that extends the deck into mapping tools, guided reflection, facilitation support, and session planning.

Who it's for

Coaches, mentors, leaders, educators, HR and people professionals, facilitators — and anyone who wants a clearer way to see neurocognitive variation and the friction it creates in real environments. Works just as well solo: naming patterns, testing what actually helps, building a more workable way through your own days.

About The Framework

The Systemic NeuroCognitive Indexing Protocol™ (SNIP™) is a diagnostic-neutral framework developed by Alexandra Robuste, currently under peer review at Neurodiversity (SAGE). Rather than diagnosing or categorizing, it maps neurocognitive friction across five functional domains and turns those patterns into practical, system-level responses.

Your downloadable resources are on page 31 of the Companion Booklet included with your deck — just scan the QR code.

The framework builds on Alexandra Robuste’s work in Gentle Leading & Neurodivergence-Inclusive Leadership (Routledge, 2025) and her wider research and practice in neuroinclusive design.

Important note

SNIP™ and the SNIP™ Card Deck are educational and reflective tools. They are not diagnostic instruments and do not provide medical, psychological, therapeutic, or other clinical assessment or advice. They are intended to support observation, reflection, conversation, and the design of more workable environments and practices.

      So grateful for these cards

I absolutely love these cards. They are such an incredible tool for neurodivergent people, helping you understand what you’re feeling, recognize what’s happening in your body, and find ways to regulate those symptoms.

I’ve also show the cards to my therapist , and even she was amazed by how thoughtful and well made this work is. They’ve already helped me learn so much about myself and understand my own emotions in a different way.

I also bought a deck for my dear friend who has ADHD, and I’m s

      So THAT’S what’s going on

As someone with ADHD, I’ve spent years wondering why simple things can feel so hard. These cards help me pinpoint what’s actually going on — sensory overload, time, energy, communication, executive function — and give me practical ideas for what to try next. I’ve had so many “OH, JA, TATH'S ME & THAT’S WHY” moments. I really wish I’d had them years ago.

A brilliant tool for getting groups unstuck

As a facilitator, I’m always looking for ways to get beyond the loudest voices in the room and uncover what’s actually making something difficult. These cards are fantastic for that. Put a few on the table and suddenly people have language for things they couldn’t quite explain before. They turn abstract conversations about collaboration, communication and workload into something concrete you can actually work with.

      Profoundly Deep/Helpful

I often use the advice I received from the creator, and these cards to help me! They were part of a lovely journey in finding myself and my peace with my neurodivergent reality and this creator was certainly a lovely part of that! I now am even with a fellow neurodivergent partner and we are extremely happy together! This is clearly a well-researched labor of love from a deeply passionate advocate for our people!

Finally, something that goes beyond generic advice

What I love most is that the cards don’t assume that the same solution works for everyone. They encourage you to take a closer look and understand what is truly holding you back before jumping straight into solutions or new strategies.

This is especially valuable for people who have already tried many different approaches but still feel they haven’t found the path that truly works for them.
