The Stall Point Diagnostic™
A step that never happens gets read as a decision. It almost never is.
WHO IT IS FOR
Somebody agreed to the step, meant it, and three weeks later it has not happened
You made the task smaller, then smaller again, and it still did not get done
One person delivers reliably on some things and stalls on others, and it looks like choosing
You coach, lead, teach or parent, and more encouragement is making it worse
WHAT IT IS
A three-ring wheel of five domains. Thirty-five observable signals, seven per domain. Seventy responses, two per signal: the move available in this conversation, and the change that stops it recurring.
Capacity is not one battery. It runs out in one of five places, and which one decides what helps.
WHAT IT COMES WITH
The Wheel — five domains, thirty-five signals, seventy responses. Runs in the browser
The Instrument — forty questions, 1 to 10, twenty minutes, draws your charts as you score
The Manual — 8 pages A4
The Score Sheet — 5 pages A4, the forty questions on paper
The Spider Charts — 7 pages A4, the overview plus one per domain, blank
Your result sheet — printable, only what you scored above a 5
The print pack — PDF at A2, A3 and A4, high-resolution PNG, editable SVG
An access card with your code and a permanent page with every file on it
HOW IT WORKS
Name one step. ~2 min Read the wheel and mark the signals you recognize. ~5 min Score the forty questions, one domain at a time. ~12 min Take the longest arm and find the question carrying it. ~3 min
One step, one sitting.
WHAT YOU END UP WITH
One chart, and one domain that is loudest
The signal inside it doing most of the work
The move for the next conversation, and the change that stops it recurring
One thing you are changing, and a date to look again
What you will not get is a type, a label, or a diagnosis. That is deliberate.
USING IT WITH SOMEONE ELSE
The signals are observable, so this one works about a stalled step you are watching, not only one you are in. One condition, not negotiable: they know you are using it.
The reading belongs to the person it is about
Never collect readings across a team — look at the conditions instead
Do not tell somebody which domain they are
Trauma, crisis or a health question is a referral, not a coaching topic
WHAT IT IS NOT
Not a test, not a diagnosis, not a capacity score
Not a course — no videos, nothing expires
No norms, no cut-offs, no validation study
Physical causes produce the same picture — thyroid, iron, sleep apnea, medication, pain, hormonal change. A blood test rules out more than a wheel can.
HOW IT RUNS
Browser, phone or laptop. Nothing installed, nothing stored, no login, no subscription. You get a code and a permanent page.
