Hi, I’m Alexandra— strategic thinker, enthusiastic creator, and deeply committed to bringing more good leadership into the world. In many ways, this feels like my purpose in business—maybe even my core purpose.
Originally from Germany (born in Cologne, lived many years in Berlin), I’ve made Los Angeles my second home—fulfilling one of my personal Big Five for Life.
The ocean has always been a magnetic force for me, and I find myself gravitating there almost daily. I can’t wait for the day I’ll live directly at the beach, with the waves as my soundtrack—and while I’m not by the water, you’ll often find me hiking the beautiful Californian trails, gathering plenty ideas with every step.
I’m the founder of Gentle Leading™, a leadership philosophy and methodology grounded in needs-based design, emotional regulation, psychological safety, and the systemic inclusion of neurodivergence.
My upcoming book Gentle Leading & Neurodivergence is currently in press with Routledge, and I’m incredibly proud that this work will soon enter academic and higher education spaces. It is designed to raise awareness, challenge misconceptions, and offer a practical guide for creating workplaces where every mind can thrive. It combines evidence-based insights, showing how often small, simple changes in communication, structure, and culture can make a profound difference. By reframing leadership through a neurodiversity lens, it equips leaders and organizations to design environments that truly include and empower everyone.
In parallel, I’m revising and expanding the core Gentle Leading™ framework—the flagship—into a second, academically structured book. This work goes deeper into the systemic architecture of regenerative leadership and will form the foundation for a leadership academy designed to be shared far beyond my own organization. The vision is to create a rigorous, emotionally intelligent space for leaders across sectors and cultures to learn, exchange, and apply principles that meet the evolving needs of the future of work...
